Ben Wentworth Headshot

Ben Wentworth, PhD., CEO/Chief Consultant

Ben brings over a decade of experience in teaching, student conduct administration, and research to SDA. He has served on national and state-level leadership boards and has led the creation of resources related to the CAS Standards. His research interests include conspiracy thinking among college students, extremist ideologies, and belief systems.

Ben founded SDA to provide support for higher-education professionals in various functional areas. While his expertise is in student conduct administration, he brings experience in classroom teaching, tutoring services, and admissions.

Ben currently lives in the Atlanta area with his wife, their son, and one cat.


Tamara Miller Bowden, M.Ed., Board Member

With over 30 years of experience in higher education, Tamara brings an array of knowledge within various areas of student and academic affairs including but not limited to Student Leadership, Academic Support, Community Service, First Year Seminars, Greek Life, SACSCOC Institutional Compliance, and Student Involvement. Tamara’s signature student leadership programs such as 7 Hopes for Highly Effective Student Leaders, Tiger Tuesdays (eight first year involvement programs running simultaneously), Academic Support Technology Team (ASTech), and Study Partners Management Team offered students leadership roles guiding their interest and growth in an effort to support their personal and professional development and encourage lifelong learning and continual higher education involvement. 

Having held graduate assistantships and/or professional positions at both private and public institutions, Tamara strives to support higher education pre-professionals and professionals in all walks of life. 

After living for 22 years in Auburn, AL with her son, Tamara returned to her hometown of Athens, GA, in 2021. She is happy to once again wear red on an almost daily basis.
